Expert help with DACA renewals and Temporary Protected Status applications. Navigate complex immigration programs with attorney-reviewed guidance and comprehensive support.
Two important immigration programs providing temporary relief
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
Current Status: USCIS accepting renewals only. Initial applications on hold pending litigation.
Temporary Protected Status
Current Countries (2025): El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela (terminated Oct 2025), Yemen, and others.
DACA and TPS are temporary protections that can be terminated or not renewed. They do not provide a direct path to permanent residence (green card). However, they may create opportunities to adjust status through other means (marriage to U.S. citizen, employer sponsorship, etc.). We help explore all options during consultation.
Comprehensive DACA and TPS support
You must meet ALL of these requirements for DACA renewal
Came to the United States before your 16th birthday
Continuously resided in the U.S. since June 15, 2007
Were physically present in the U.S. on June 15, 2012 and at time of application
Were under age 31 as of June 15, 2012
Currently in school, graduated high school, obtained GED, or honorably discharged veteran
Have not been convicted of felony, significant misdemeanor, or multiple misdemeanors
DACA recipients should file renewal applications 120-150 days before their current DACA expires. There are NO automatic extensions for DACA—if your DACA expires, you lose work authorization immediately. Plan ahead and don't miss the renewal window.

Since November 4, 1997
Since August 1, 2016
Since March 3, 2022
TERMINATED Oct 3, 2025
Since September 3, 2015
Important: TPS designations and re-registration periods change frequently. Venezuela TPS was terminated by Supreme Court effective October 3, 2025, but existing EADs remain valid until October 2, 2026. Check with us for current status and filing deadlines for your country.
For both DACA and TPS, you must prove continuous U.S. residence. Strong evidence includes:
Not filing 120-150 days before expiration. DACA has NO automatic extension. If expired, you lose work authorization immediately.
Not providing sufficient evidence of continuous residence or failing to document education status.
Failing to report ALL arrests or criminal history, even if charges were dropped. Full disclosure is required.
DACA fee is $495 (no waiver). TPS fees vary: $500 filing + $30 biometrics for initial, $30 only for re-registration, plus work permit fees.
TPS has specific registration and re-registration periods. Missing the window means you cannot apply until next designation.
Leaving U.S. without approved advance parole terminates DACA and TPS. Must apply for and receive advance parole first.
With attorney review, we track your renewal deadlines, ensure complete documentation, calculate fees correctly, and address any criminal history issues properly. We also help you explore long-term pathways beyond DACA/TPS.
