1. There is a consular fee of US$5.00 per document. Please send a money order payable to the Brazilian Consulate General. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
2. Please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of the document (in the U.S. only), and to the attention of the Legal Department. PLEASE, DO NOT USE FEDERAL EXPRESS!
3. We cannot send the documents directly to Brazil. They will be returned to the sender.
4. The Brazilian Consulate General in San Francisco has jurisdiction over the states of Oregon, Washington, Alaska and in California over the following counties: Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Inyo, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Ladera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Mono, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Benedito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Sierra, Siskyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislau, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne, Yolo, Yuma.
